As a service provider, BALILOCATIONS cannot be held responsible for any missing item or modification brought by local correspondents or owners (dissimulation, omission, hidden flaw, etc).
If at your arrival or during your stay, you exceed the number of persons stated in your rental contract, you may be denied access to the villa or be charged an increase in price required by the owner.
It is the guest’s responsibility to determine (before agreeing and signing) if the price is acceptable. The contractual rental price is an inclusive price that may not be modified under any circumstances.
BALILOCATIONS cannot be held responsible in case of bodily injuries, death, or in case of theft, loss or damages suffered by personal property during the stay in the villa or while participating in any tourism activity.
Conversely, BALILOCATIONS cannot be held responsible for any delay or additional expense caused by a problem or any event beyond its control (delayed flights, civil or government problems, or any circumstances linked to the weather or to natural disasters).
The villas’ rental rates are understood to be per day (minimum 3 days, except for exceptions), per week, per two-week stay, or per month. Prices are regressive in function of the rental length.
As already indicated above in the "SERVICE PROVIDERS" section, the villas that we propose may only be occupied by the maximum number of persons stated at the time of reservation (children included)..
These rates always include services performed by house care personnel, daily cleaning, linen (towels and sheets), garden and pool maintenance, transfer to the villa at your arrival. Electricity and gas costs, the various taxes and clean-up cost are included in our prices, except if otherwise indicated. Under no circumstance, the renter shall, on his own initiative, temper with the villa’s equipment, more specifically with the swimming pool’s machinery. In case of problem, the renter shall report it to the responsible person, otherwise he/she will financially bear all damages arising from his/her responsibility.
CHECK-IN AT ARRIVAL TIME
Peak Season – December 15 through January 9 and 1 August until 15 September
High Season – July 1st through until July 31, Chinese New Year and Easter week.

The villas’ owners are liable to declare their renters to the Police Office, when they occupy the villa. For this purpose, the person responsible for the house (the Manager) will, when you arrive, ask you a photocopy of your passports (please keep this in mind before you arrive)..
The villas’ material condition matches the available descriptions on our Website at the time of reservation. These descriptions may be updated on a regular basis.
Should you need special layout or equipment or if you wish further details, do not hesitate to ask us before you leave, we will be pleased to inform you.
We select with great care each one of our villas for their charm, their comfort, their location relative to available entertainment or relative to tranquility.
BALILOCATIONS will not be held responsible in case of unpredictable events or circumstances beyond our control such as the start of a construction site in the area, neighborhood noise, electrical power or water shutoff, crowing roosters or barking dogs, music and sounds from religious or traditional ceremonies, etc.
Final reservation of the villa implies that the renter agrees to these conditions.
We will always be present in Bali and available to help you resolve eventual problems, to facilitate your vacation and to make it most pleasant: (e.g. help with car rentals, house personnel recruiting (cook, baby sitter etc.), advices on your visits, excursions, food and entertainment, etc.
Unlike in most countries, except for rare exceptions, no security deposit is required in Bali when you rent a villa.
You agree to take all necessary measures in order that you and your family comply with the rules attached to the rental you selected. The premises must be left as clean as they were when you arrived.
Renters are therefore responsible to use the house and its equipment with the greatest possible care and attention.
If damages were to occur during the rental period, the guest must report them immediately to the owner (or one of his agents) and to the BALILOCATIONS staff and eventually reimburse such damages.
The guest may be asked to leave the property if, during his/her stay, he/she gets it dirty, puts it in disarray, breaks some items or does not comply with the most elementary rules of proper behavior. In such case, BALILOCATIONS, as well as the owner, shall not be obligated to reimburse the sum due for the remainder of the stay. Repairs costs of eventual damages, whether material or otherwise will be added.
If the house is not restored to its initial condition, the guest shall bear the cost of repair or restoration. If the house cannot be made available to the following guests, the resulting loss will also be born by the renter responsible for the damages.
Pets are welcome only inasmuch as their presence was requested and accepted when the contract is signed.
All claims must be addressed to the villa’s owner or manager.
FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT
Your rental is equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances, china, furniture and bedding. The owner is responsible for the quality and the quantity of such equipment, which should match the guest capacity.
However, garden furniture may not be supplied in the same quantity. Decorations, colors and items will vary with each rental.
If you wish to make up your mind or to wait until your airfare is confirmed, you may reserve a villa without down payment for 6 days. However, for obvious reasons, and in the high season, this period may be reduced to 2 or 3 days. In such case, you will be clearly informed of such clause at the time of your inquiry.
It is always possible for you to cancel a reservation, but only in writing. Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total amount of the rental based on the cancellation date. In such case we promise to apply the following indemnity conditions:
• Up to 90 days prior to the start of the rental period, 70% of the amount paid will be reimbursed.
• Between the 90th and the 45th day prior to the start of the rental period, 50% of the amount paid will be reimbursed.
• On the 45th day or less prior to the start of the rental period, 100% of the amount paid will be vested to Balilocations.
Fund transfer costs linked to an eventual reimbursement shall be borne by the guests.
VILLA CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT :
Unless stated otherwise, the renter agrees to vacate the villa at 11:00 AM at the latest, on the day of his/her departure, this in order to let the owner check the condition of the premises and run an inventory, and to give time to the house cleaning crew to clean the house before the next guests arrive. For the same reasons, the villa’s check-in time is 2:00 PM (except if there is no renter before),
Balilocations will make all efforts to let you settle quickly in your villa.
If the villa is not immediately rented to other guests, a late inventory control may be scheduled until up to 8:00 PM. In such case, compensation equivalent to 50% of the daily rate will be required (and after 8:00 PM, 100% of the daily rate will be required). Please let us know in advance while here.
